I love photography. I wallow in the thought of gorgeous food and finely made merchandise. When it comes to things and ideas, I’m passionate for the power that photography can have for them. Like well-written prose that makes your heart sing, a successful image creates a wonderfully defined change in the viewer. Images are stories. I want to make the viewer hungry, thirsty, need to possess an object or just to be thoughtful for a better way to live.  I’m mad for the quality of light that creates texture over forms, have a great fondness for the study of color and have an obsession for making images with perfect execution.

I have come to the place in my career, after shooting just about everything, that defining the story of an image is what I love most. A concept can be manifested a thousand ways and every subject has a position in our material world with it’s own voice.  There is always a story of origin, present and future and I love learning this story for what my clients are trying to achieve. Then, creating that story for them through photography.

I have a wonderful team (long term partners!) that enables me to achieve just about anything I can think of.  No matter how big or small the project, it’s fun, often self challenging, always interesting and we never cease to learn, grow and define the story in a new way.

We shoot for Starbuck’s, Burger King, McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Del Taco, Ghirardelli, eBay, Method Home, Hidden Valley Ranch, Brita, Shutterfly, Logitech, Sunset Magazine, and Chronicle Books, among many others.

We also have a stunning natural light studio in San Francisco and two adorable Pugs that rule the roost. They prefer we shoot bacon.
